10th EFDN Conference

The 10th Anniversary EFDN Conference will take place on the 21st and 22nd of March 2018 at the iconic Parc des Princes Stadium, home of Paris Saint-Germain.

The highly anticipated 10th Anniversary Conference event will focus on the #MoreThanFootball theme, which represents EFDN’s ambition to further promote and validate the powerful role that sport can play in tackling some of the fundamental challenges facing society today.

Over the past ten years, EFDN conferences have showcased valuable work and contributions to CSR in European Football, creating a unique space for clubs, foundations and organisations, to come together to share best practices, exchange insights and create new partnerships.

Leaders from the world of CSR in football will have the opportunity to discuss community-driven content and to take part in expert-led presentations and panels. Among others, representatives from the foundations of Paris Saint GermainReal MadridEverton in the Community and Chelsea FC will share their knowledge on the delivery and impact of football for development programmes.

The event will also mark the launch of the #MoreThanFootball Action Week, which provides organisations with a platform to host events that demonstrate the social impact of their community projects and raise awareness of the transformative role European club football can play in changing lives.

The 10th Anniversary EFDN Conference will be attended by around 150 participants, representing clubs, foundations, associations, leagues and FA’s, who are all committed to discussing and sharing the latest trends and challenges within the field of football for development.
