Healthy Stadia Teams Up With International Sports Convention – Geneva 2014

The latest collaboration for The International Sports Convention (ISC) 2014 has been announced this week, with the Healthy Stadia Conference 2014 to be held at the Convention in Geneva.

ISC will take place at Geneva’s Palexpo on 10-11 December, 2014. The Convention will consist of 18 sports conferences and expos taking place over the 2 days, and with 4000 delegates expected to attend, this will make ISC the largest sports convention in 2014.

Building on the success of this year’s Healthy Stadia Conference held at Manchester City FC’s Etihad Stadium, this event is now considered the principal symposium and networking space for professionals involved in the cross-cutting fields of sport, health, corporate and social responsibility, and stadia management.

Healthy Stadia and its key partner, World Heart Federation, will also be represented in the main exhibition hall for both days of the Convention, whilst full programme of speakers for the Conference will be announced in early 2014.

Nigel Fletcher, Managing Director of The International Sports Convention comments: “We look forward to working with Healthy Stadia to ensure their goals are met. This type of conference ensures that we are at the cutting edge of learning and providing business opportunities for all present at ISC 2014”.

Matthew Philpott, Director of Healthy Stadia said: “We are delighted to be part of The International Sports Convention in 2014 and look forward to bringing together professionals from sport, stadia management and health in Geneva. The success of the Healthy Stadia Conference at Manchester City this year is testimony to the significant growth and interest in this field, and our Conference speakers will demonstrate the joint commercial and societal benefits of adopting a Healthy Stadia approach.”
