We are pleased to announce that registration for the European Healthy Stadia Conference 2017 is now open online, with a special ‘super saver’ rate available until December 31st for early purchase of delegate passes.
The 2017 conference will be held on Thursday 27th April at Emirates Stadium (London), home of Arsenal FC, and will celebrate 10 years of the European Healthy Stadia movement. The conference is now considered the principal symposium and networking space for professionals involved in the cross-cutting fields of sport, community development and health promotion, but will also be of interest to those working in CSR and sport, stadia management and sustainability in sport.

Conference Themes:
This edition of the conference will have a specific focus on the growing interaction between academic research, policy and practice in the field of Healthy Stadia, with many presentations underlining the benefits of partnerships established between research institutions, clubs/venues and governing bodies. The conference will be structured around plenary presentations and two sets of parallel sessions covering a wide range of cross-cutting themes relating to health and sport, including:
- Physical activity interventions
- Tobacco control and alcohol policies
- Mental health and wellbeing interventions
- Active travel and active spectatorship
- Obesity and weight-loss interventions
