Our training portfolio covers a wide-range of public health policy issues and health risk behaviours. These include alcohol and substance misuse, smoking cessation, gambling-related harm through to Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma-informed practice.

The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity or CIMSPA is the professional development body for the UK’s sport and physical activity sector, committed to supporting, developing and enabling professionals and organisations to succeed and, as a result, inspire our nation to become more active.
As a CIMSPA training provider partner, our sessions are reviewed against professional standards in the sport, fitness, leisure, and physical activity sector, providing a powerful ‘stamp of approval’ for our organisation and training offers.
This course looks at the nature and extent of Adverse Childhood Experiences or ‘ACEs’, how they impact on health and social outcomes, COVID-19 related trauma, and how sports organisations can implement trauma-informed practices to support children, young people and vulnerable adults.
