Training

Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma-informed practice

Healthy Stadia is now providing online training courses, delivered via Zoom, that provide those involved in the provision of sport and physical activity with new insights into the prevalence of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), the profound effects of trauma, and how being part of a team or club can help people overcome adversity, build resilience, and improve their life chances.

The training course features infographics, videos, animations and testimony from those living with ACEs and participants will be given a range of tasks to test their knowledge and understanding. Participants will also have the opportunity to comment and contribute their perspectives throughout the online training programme.

Upcoming training sessions
